Top 10 Summer Team Building Events

We’re putting the gloomy, chilly weather behind us, and getting booked up fast for summer!

We’ve compiled a list of our Top 10 Team Building Experiences and Events for you and your team this summer!

1) Taken
Your CEO has been kidnapped and it is your job to get him or her back before it is too late. The Taken Experience is based on the ability of a team to rescue someone who has been kidnapped. You will receive a special briefing delivered by Scotland Yard Detectives. Discover 'special skills' when you are shown surveillance techniques and hostage negotiating skills. Each group needs to decide what to do.

2) The Crystal Challenge Experience
The Crystal Challenge themed event where teams compete in Physical, Mental, Mystery and Skill team building games in order to win the most crystals. The more crystals teams win, the more time they will have in the Grand Crystal finale!

3) Bear Grylls Survival Academy
The Bears Grylls ethos is all about challenge, courage, determination, achievement and of course having fun on the way. We can put together a fun packed challenging activity day for you! Challenges can include fire lighting, foraging, gross eat challenge, Land Rover pull and knot tying to name just a few.

4) Soap Box Races
The most daredevil group of daffy drivers to ever whirl their wheels in the Soap Box Races, competing for the title of world’s wackiest racer! The event combines Team Training in 4 race themed team tasks, budget and planning in the Race Shop, pitching and presentation skills in the sponsorship Pitch it Right challenge and culminating in Pole Position, where it all culminates on the track in a head to head race.

5) The Bodyguard Experience
Faced with robbery, kidnap or assassination, this exciting team building experience will teach you all of the basics you need to know in order to become Bodyguards.

6) The Detective Experience
Fancy being a police detective for a day? Our Detective Experience is a highly unique, ground breaking experience, based around an investigation conducted from an “Incident” room. With a strong emphasis on team work and communication, teams will see cities in a completely different light!  Teams will need to work together and communicate effectively in order to solve this heinous crime (including interviewing a police informant!)

7) Multi-Activity Days – Duck Herding, Laser Clays & Archery
If you fancy a few outdoor activities, we can create your own personalised multi-activity day. We would recommend 3 Activities for a Half Day and 4/5 Activities for a Full Day. Activities include Archery, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, Crossbows, Air Rifle Shooting, Segways, Rage Buggies, Duck Herding, Sheep Racing, Falconry, Beautifully British And much more!

8) Samba Drumming
With its driving and energetic Latin rhythms, Samba percussion is one of the most popular team building activities around. It's quick, simple and easy.  And despite some initial hesitations, everyone will get in touch with their inner drummer. Drumming workshops are a great way to add some energy, laughter and fun to your away day or conference.

9) It’s a Knockout
Our Its A Knockout games are designed to challenge a team’s range of skills through a series of physical and mental games, sometimes both, as well as perhaps the most essential ingredient of all – a team’s ability to work as a unit and face the challenge!

10) City Explorer GPS Treasure Hunts
The city streets are your playground for this team event as you get out and about to explore, learn and compete against other teams in our unique and interactive GPS City Explorer event.  Armed with your iPad as your tour guide, this is a team building event with an interactive twist as you work together to locate the city based hotspots, answer questions and earn points.

In 2018 we’re working with some amazing venues that give guests the “summer feel” without the risk of rain! We’ve found teams are wanting the “great outdoors” without having to rely on the weather. If you are London based why not try The Conservatory and Garden Room at The Barbican or perhaps the The Bourne and Hollingsworth? If you need help finding the perfect venue for your Summer Event please feel free to contact the team.

We also work with a variety of stunning venues with outdoor space, perfect for Team Building and Summer Events. Some of our favourite include Devonport House at Greenwich, The London Stadium at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, The stunning Luton Hoo Hotel in Luton, Beaumont Estate in Windsor and Horsley Park in Surrey, to name just a few! We have a whole host of other options which can be found here (although we offer thousands of other options!)
